Since Cafuné started, we have vowed to never discard or burn excess inventory.
To avoid creating excess inventory, we have adopted a lean production process and data-driven merchandising strategies.
When there are undigested inventory, we would donate to local organisations such as St James' Settlement and The Salvation Army, for raise funds through selling in charity shops or auctions.
For finished products that did not pass our stringent quality check, they would stay within the manufacturing facility and dismantled carefully.
This helps to reduce the products' carbon footprint and ensure its components can be recycled as much as possible.
