CARING FOR YOUR CAFUNÉ LEATHER GOODS

Cafuné leather goods are crafted in the finest skins and hardware available. Every skin is natural and unique; any incidental tonal variations, marks or pattern variations should not be considered as imperfections. 

 

To ensure the longevity of your Cafuné bag, we recommend you to:

• Avoid over exposure to direct lighting 
• Avoid exposure to moisture and rain
• Avoid contact with makeup or perfume
• Avoid contact of light-coloured leather with darker fabric or other materials, as this will cause colour transfer
• Avoid overfilling your bag to maintain its original shape
• When not in use, store your bag in its original dust bag and keep the stuffing inside to hold the shape. Avoid storing in high temperature, humid or unventilated areas
• When storing, avoid hanging bags up as this can stretch the strap or handles

 

To clean your Cafuné bag, we recommend you to:

• Before cleaning, wipe away dust and debri with a soft cloth or brush
• On stain spots, apply a specialised leather cleaner and rub in circular motion, let it sit for a period of time and wipe away with clean cloth
• You can use a leather protective spray, which adds an invisible layer on the leather surface against stains
• Keep leather moisturised and supple with a leather conditioner every 3-6 months
• Hardware should be polished with a chamois cloth
